Mabey he should stop seeking out and loving Hannity, if he is so upset.

What can Trump whine about today and tomorrow.

Maybe if we were given some information instead of just the repeated claim. It is becoming the conservative version of global warming where no one gives any arguments, they just try repeating the same things over and over again in an attempt to get people to just accept it by osmosis.

One of the areas that every sector of the public, left or right has converged on is the victim narrative. I don't think the left needs any more exposition. But if you go through FR, there are threads that go through how hard whites have it, how hard men have it, how hard conservatives have it, how hard the middle class have it, etc. etc.

There used to be a spirit of "it doesn't matter how hard you have it, that is life". That is conservatism. All this whining is what populism boils down to and why it has a bad name. It is just the same as the left bellyaching about minorities, women, and the poor. If they don't have any reason to complain, then nor do whites, men and the middle class.

Most people support Trump DESPITE his personality. But you only Trumpets support him BECAUSE of it. His personality hinders his effectiveness, and I don't mean as what voters think of him.

I grew up eating Macomb County politics.

Home of the famous Reagan Democrats.

It is those people, more their offspring that remain as moderates.
There is a thin line between an Independent and Moderate. AKA swing voters.

Michigan does not require you to register with a party. Many states don’t, many states do.

Whoever our nominee is, they need those “Swing” voters.

Michigan, Ohio, Penn., Georgia do have suburbs. They go from large cities to suburban areas then rural, geographically.

The definition of a suburban mom varies.
Many have college degrees.
Usually they work full time and still take care of their children and home life. They are younger than most here.

They are a huge voting block that require consideration and courting.

“Trump’s constant attacks on DeSantis make it hard for his campaign strategy to work.”... DT’s certainly making it hard for me to vote for him a 3rd time.

You either don’t want to understand a what I wrote or you’re unable to understand.

It is well established that Trump had some hard knocks.
The media was insane for example.

Russia collusion was a hoax (as we all knew).

What purpose does it serve other than trying get sympathy to go on and on about the 2-6 years ago at every speech, and every interview?

If you think that type of constant conversation over and over again is a real vote earner, perhaps you should stay out of politics.

You are making a big mistake assuming Trump’s primary win is in that bag.
A bigger mistake that he can win a general election by dwelling in the past.

“[Trump’s] personality hinders his effectiveness, and I don’t mean as what voters think of him.”

History says otherwise.

Not really, he was effective, but he could have been far more effective by being more focused. The other problem was the people he trusted. Which is why I wish he would dump the snakes, Graham and Hannity.

Really? Trump is who he’s always been. Was it hard for you to vote for him the last two times? If it was, I imagine you’ll get over it like you did then and vote for him again in the general election. You don’t have to vote for him in the primaries. There are enough of us who will, to get him re-nominated.

Hi Jane, just some food for thought at this link. You might also check into RFK Jr’s claims of Trump being paid off by Pfizer and offering the job of chief scientist of the White House to Bill Gates after originally offering it to Kennedy. Or you can just just discount it all as untrue of course as well. Just wanted you to have the info if you didn’t, thanks.

https://www.opensecrets.org/news/2021/01/trump-tied-lobbyists-peaked-in-final-year/

Republican lobbyists emerged as a fundraising force during Trump’s 2020 campaign. And no lobbyist raised more money for Trump than Jeff Miller.

Miller Strategies raked in cash from powerful pharmaceutical interests such as Pfizer and the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America…

It is well established that Trump had some hard knocks.

Hard knocks? You mean they've been attempting to frame and overthrow Trump for 7+ years

Trump has been taken political artillery 24/7 by back stabbers from BOTH parties, while the deep state/media lied and produced hate Trump propaganda non-stop day and night around the clock for years. Hard knocks?

Attacks from all sides, deep state, FBI, DOJ, CIA, his own party members, network media, attacking from every direction 24/7 for years. We have never seen anything like this in the history of America.

Hard knocks? Bull s**t. This is the understatement of the year.

Let me get ya up to speed Dave. If Trump can win this against the Democrats, nobody can. And it's a certainty DeSantos can't. Pay attention.

Texas does not require that you register with a party either. More people out here have at least a bachelors degree than do not-lots of veterans and retired military who are now small business owners-mechanic shops, hardware, feed stores etc-the main source of income here is tourism, with ranchers/farmers 2nd-This is a different world than one a suburban mom of any age would be much interested in, I suppose. a bright red area, like much of rural and small-town Texas and the South-many of the major cities have always been blue islands with a few exceptions-even some rural areas right on the border have been flipping to red for a few years now...

“Summer people” with cabins on the river and day tripper tourists spend money here-the nearest major city is nearly 50 miles away-but the biggest spenders are the snowbirds from Northern states and Canada who either lease a cabin or park an RV here for the Winter-I have a friend in Idaho who spends the Winter here-even though it does freeze-and snow, Winter is not as cold or long as in Idaho. The antique and junk shops and farm-to-table organic local food restaurants are mostly owned by women-but not suburban types-they are from here.
