Wasn’t that from the audio clip posted on the Telegram or Sky News ? I don’t know if it is true or not but most of all I wonder how the Russians think they can win in Ukraine without the Wagner group.

I don’t even know what ‘winning’ looks like for either side here. If Ukraine does push Russia and Wagner out of all the recently occupied territory, there is still a large population of Ukrainians with Russian sympathies. And that’s assuming the West doesn’t push Ukraine into trying to liberate territories taken back under Obama administration. And what is Russia’s objective? To annex the lands with the Russian sympathizers in eastern Ukraine and cessation of fighting thereafter? That’s a loss for Ukraine, and Biden’s “whatever it takes” speeches.
The Wagner group was always a part of the Russian army. Progo is a figurehead.
