I was wrong about certain things: For instance, I thought we’d reach herd immunity while there were still only a few hundred thousand deaths.

But I can’t just write off letting Fauci completely destroy all vestiges of freedom and democracy as “mistakes were made.” And I can’t ignore the utter and complete lack of leadership and the inability to seize command of the situation by Trump. Yes, the Democrats are the evil-doers here, but Pres. Trump’s utter incompetence, absurd lack of credibility and (yes, I’ll say it) cowardice enabled it all. Trump needed to have fired Fauci and also his CDC leadership as soon as Fauci was tied to China and the CDC failed to have PPE or testing equipment.
