There are a bunch of competing interests here. The Dems and their flacks in the media and corporate America know that the Bidens are a crime family, but they don’t want the Republicans to gain any kind of traction from these scandals. They’re nervously watching the polls, though, because they know that they aren’t immune to public opinion.
Here’s the next shoe to drop (in my opinion): If Comer, Grassley, and others are able to subpoena bank records, and establish a path from these influence-peddling deals into Biden’s bank account, then the case goes from “probably did” to “proven.”
One wrinkle is that Biden and his son shared bank accounts. Some people have suggested it was because they were lazy or careless. NO! They did it at the instruction of some sleazy lawyer. They anticipated that some smart guy might be able to pierce their ridiculous attempts at money-laundering through multiple shell corporations, and figure out how money landed in those bank accounts. Biden, Sr will be forced to stop saying, “Where’s the money?” But, he will undoubtedly claim that it wasn’t his money. He’ll say that it belongs to Hunter Biden, not him.
I think once you reach that point, though, it will be crystal clear to the American people that Joe Biden enriched himself by leveraging his position as vice-president to extort money against the interest of our country. That will likely lead to impeachment.
There will be a tell if/when Democrats start to turn on Joe Biden when you start seeing more negative stories in the media. See, the Democrats aren’t idiots. They know that they need a certain amount of time to nominate somebody else for 2024. My guess is that they would need to make a decision to force Biden out of the 2024 race no later than, say, September or possibly October. This is by no means guaranteed, of course. Democrats are scum. They may try to ride this out by circling the wagons.
Time will tell. It’s going to be an interesting ride.

I’m betting that they’ve already got it “in the works” for Newsom to step in and fill the Biden gap. Get rid of one old snake and get a younger snake in its place. One more stolen election and America will finally be conquered from within.
