My big maybe is that Prigo was exiled to Belorussian to shape up the pathetic Belorussian army and his Wagners. To invade Kiev in a few months. Putin/ Russia will fund them and supply them with weaponry.

Why would the Belorussian army fight in Ukraine? Its not their war. That would probably make them revolt against their Russian masters. Putin lost most of his elite VDV Paratroopers when he used them to invade Kyiv on day 1. Putin may get overextended here.

If Lukashenko has no choice, he would probably order his troops to attack Ukraine, forcing the Belorussian army to mutiny and Lukashenko will flee to Turkey with his family.

Putin might order Lukashenko to commit his troops to Ukraine if he's desperate enough. Lukashenko knows he cannot survive in Belarus without the Russians.
