The rebellious Russian mercenary commander who ordered his troops to march on Moscow before abruptly reversing course will move to neighboring Belarus and not face prosecution, the Kremlin said Saturday, as part of a deal to defuse a crisis that represented the most significant challenge to President Vladimir Putin in his more than two decades in power.
The charges against Yevgeny Prigozhin for mounting an armed rebellion will be dropped and the troops who joined him also will not be prosecuted, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced, and fighters from his Wagner Group who did not take part in the uprising will be offered contracts by the Defense Ministry.
Putin had vowed to punish those behind the armed uprising led by his onetime protege, whose forces seized a key military facility in southern Russia before advancing on the capital. In a televised speech to the nation, Putin called the rebellion a “betrayal” and “treason.”

One Ukie chick was exulting about how no “Russian trolls” (their code phrase for those of us who are against our tax dollars going to their little dancing queen with no accountability) were posting. She went on about how this signaled a “revolution” on FR and how the Ukies’ dissenters were “vaporized.”

The United States is funding all sides of this suedo war in order to protect/destroy the bio labs in Ukraine. China is also doing their part. I believe covid (lab created bio weapon) originated in Ukraine. This “war” is a complete coverup of the money trail to US GOVERNMENT officials on all sides making shitloads of money from Ukrainian labs.
Wagner is done as of July 1st when their “soldiers” sign contracts with the Russian MOD. If they weren’t the Russian Air Force would finish them off.
I would tend to agree with that. The old saying is that if you are going to go after the King, you best not miss. Assuming this was even a serious attempt, they missed. Putin will have more control than ever now.

Listen to Putin’s speech on the matter. He praised the Wagner group for their bravery, and highly successful operations in Ukraine. Keep in mind the Wagner group are “ legends” amongst many Russians due to their huge battlefield successes.
If you read Prigozhans statements, his actions were directed against the Russian military leadership, presumably Shoigu. He made accusations that the Russian military leadership had intentionally fired on a Wagner storm unit, killing many Wagnerites and simply not playing hardball with the Ukies.
Putting it all together: many Russians believe Ukraine should be steamrolled, use the full, unrestricted force of their military-flatten Ukraine - something Vlad has not done but may now be forced by public opinion to do.
Vlad is smart enough to know you don’t kill/ imprison a figure who is admired by many, that said, Wagner’s recruitment figures continue to increase.
