"We have to find middle ground in 24 if we want to win over suburban women. We have to show that we care about women at the same time that we care about life, and I’m trying to show a path forward and how you do that.”
Anchor Neil Cavuto said, “A six-week move, like what Governor DeSantis just did in Florida, does that go too far to you?”
Mace said, “It goes too far, and what that Florida bill also did is it mandated reporting of rape to the state. The vast majority of Americans support some sort of gestational limit in the second trimester.”

I had a series of back and forth with one of our Freepers recently. That Freeper, took the position, that DeSantis was too liberal on abortion, because the new law allows abortion up to six weeks. That Freeper, took the position, that DeSantis was in favor of abortion because the legislation didn’t ban all abortion in all circumstances.
This touches on the issues of talking about being pro-life, and combining a pro-life position, with the political reality that we are not going to see legislation which will ban abortion across the board.
Suburban woman must be a bunch of evil witches, according to this article.
Currently, I live in a rural area but I have lived in suburban areas and the women I knew who lived there, were pro-life.
Mandated reporting of rape...
The idea being that rapes are chronically going unreported, and abortions considered necessary by the victim (or the perp) after the unreported rapes are being procured quietly or secretly (or possibly unwillingly from the perspective of the rape victim)?
I think the party would have a lot better luck using MAGA ideals to win over Hispanic and Black men.
I love how morals no longer factor in on her Republican political beliefs. /sarc
The kind like this woman aren’t any better than the democrats.
She’s awful. What a waste, because she’s got the political skills to be a star. She has zero backbone. Attacked Trump from day one in Washington.
Bad instincts, no backbone. Not on our side.
I think MAGA Republicans who are pro life should explain who really is radical l, those who want to preserve life or those who want abortion anytime, anywhere for any reason and the tax payers pay for it all
Basically the Democrats support infanticide while the Republicans support life it’s not hard to defend pro life policies
DeSantis signed a six week abortion ban
Trump criticized the 6 week ban as too strict. What does he actually support?
—> Republicans need to determine where they stand on this,
All over the board
“I will cut that baby in half!!!”
Yeah let’s just kill some babies. Oh yeah add the ones with downs syndrome, maybe the ones that don’t look quite right swimming around. just a few of the cripples.
Mitch and the boys saved this worthless rino in 22. She barely survived the primary but the GOPe came to the rescue and screwed the base. again.
Nancy Mace will be a SC senator. Linda and Scott have sought higher office-the senate is a steady job that gives them exposure but is ultimately beneath them. Mace fits their profile.
That FReeper was right. The aim is to end abortion. But the law DeSantis signed is a notable improvement on what Florida had, and probably the best we’ll get for now. Ultimately, we need to move the window.
People like Mace will say anything to boost their candidate.
That can’t be true. Experts like Nancy Mace know what suburban women want better than suburban women do.
Whatever he thinks helps him politically.
That's what they do. You have to admire their ability to stick together.
Apparently Mace believes in the killing of innocent defenseless Americans.
