This headline is pure lies. National File references a tweet referencing Laura Loomer, who cited a tweet from David Giglio, who claims, “At a fundraiser in Coalinga, CA yesterday, hosted by two of Kevin McCarthy’s biggest donors, Ron DeSantis came out AGAINST Donald Trump’s tariffs on China.”
But Giglio’s “direct evidence” is a clip of developer Richar Spencer posted by GVWire (whatever that is) that makes no mention of tariffs to China. Spencer expresses that Trump did things he didn’t like, but Spender doesn’t even endorce DeSantis, but rather spends more time talking about Nikki Haley and Tim Scott.
