Plus be re-instated at the rank they had and get back pay for sure, even if they don’t go back on to active duty.
Same here. I still have a small scar on my left arm to prove it. (1970-19730 RVN).
And how many of them had multiple tours in Iraq or Afghanistan.
This chaps this Vet’s ass to the max.
“The order was not lawful. The Jim Jones Jab is NOT a vaccine.”
I agree on the order not being lawful, based on the Covid shot being an experimental vaccine. In addition I did bathe in, and drink, the water at Camp Lejeune during the years the water was poisoned.
It is tragic the top brass of today’s military, from Secretary of Defense through the general staff all of the services, is highly politicized and is no longer concerned with the health and morale of the troops.
I once asked a retired O-5 veteran of Korea and Vietnam, a leader I highly respected, why he had not been promoted to O-6 and above. His statement resonates with me to this day, “I am proud I never gave an order, resulting in the injury and death of personnel for whom I was responsible, for the sole purpose of advancing my career.”
Lloyd Austin, along with the generals and admirals below him, made the decision to force the vaccine on the military despite it being experimental, with long term effects unknown. This decision affected millions of people and may have shortened their lives given the information that is now becoming public about the side effects of the vaccine. It is now evident the vaccine order was a bad decision and likely made purely for political reasons. Much of the information about harmful side effects was known to the federal government, and the pharmaceutical companies, at the time the order was given to the military. What does that say about the ethics and morality of todays civilian and military leaders as well as the senior executives in the pharmaceutical industry?
Isn’t the process called a BCMR? Which stands for Basic Correction of Military Record.
I have seen a few of those, and one several of them resulted in back pay, advancement, and reinstatement all based on probable timelines if they had remained in service.
“Wasn’t lawful”
Say that as much as you want - guess who gets to decide what’s ‘lawful’ and what ain’t?
These guys/gals will be long gone before the ‘right thing’ is done by them - just like the atomic test victims and the slow-walking they got.
They’ll get their discharge upgraded, someday. Maybe.
True that!
However, I served FRom 3 March, 1963 until 30 September, 1991, and IIRC, NOT ONE of the shots I had to take were “killer shots!”
I spent over 3 decades in the military. The outrageous, illegal, and destructive orders with COVID "vaccines" are different. These "Just suck it up and take it, soldier!" orders have killed, injured, or ruined the careers of way too many military people (and dependents) than to be considered sensible medical business as usual. In fact, the harm was readily foreseeable by Command. There was plenty of warning. These shots should have been heartily resisted and rejected by those responsible for the wellbeing and readiness of our military. They have caused great harm to the Services and will continue to do so into the future.
If it were up to me I would court-martial or fire all in the Chain of Command who caused this disaster whether military or civilian. They have done our enemies a great favor.
What kind of MRNA shots were they giving out "decades ago" that the Nuremberg Code didn't apply?
The single most important reason that everyone in the service should have refused these shots is that any order to take them was, in fact, unlawful.
The order was in complete violation of the informed consent provision of the Nuremberg Code; that's what made it unlawful (not some possible finding at a future court martial). The rank of the individual (or individuals) giving the order has no bearing on its merits.
Of course - that’s why these people got dumped on their azz with GD’s. [eyeroll]
