I like 12 gauge shotguns as much as the next guy, but I don’t think they’re decadent.

They will stop a threat up to a grizzly bear...so I call them decadent.

A 12 is utilized more than a 45/70 by most hunting guides in bear country.

I’ll go with the 12, and I won’t kill my neighbors.

Steve Isdahl, a Canadian hunting guide whom I very much respect, recommends a 12 over anything else. I believe he is correct.
