By equating the Third Reich with the USSR I’m actually being unjust to the Third Reich.
Difference is, the Nazis filmed their atrocities, while the Commies kept theirs under wraps. So images are much more powerful than just words.
It’s like the difference between a rat and a squirrel, both are much the same, but people react differently to them.
