Really, what do they teach about the Katyn Forest?
Everybody downplays the bad stuff in their history. The Japanese even to this day have whitewashed a lot of stuff they did during the War. At some point, you have to start looking forward instead of backward. And yes, Russia needs to do the same, I totally agree with that.
