I am so old I remember when black people had normal first names.
If they weren't, they kept it a secret and kept their mouths shut.
A few years ago there was a younger gal (late 40"s?) who would play softball with our senior group. She was really good. She told us one day that she was recruited by a women's team to play in a tournament. Turns out almost all of them were lesbians and the youngest gal, who was straight, immediately begged her to room with her in the hotel....LOL!
