I never lost faith in Ann Coulter - until today.

Until today, her biggest complaint about Trump was his failure to vigorously - and consequentially - enforce USA immigration law as currently written.

Wow. Never expected to read an essay like this from Coulter.

Coulter talks like she has actually read the documents that Trump possessed inside his Secret Service guarded private residence.

She has not read one word of those documents. She simply quotes the indictment and WaPo and NYT.

The taped statement that Trump makes about classification is analyzed completely out of context by Coulter.

General Milley claims that Trump wanted to attack Iran and ordered Milley to prepare a battle plan.

Trump states that Milley prepared a battle plan without orders, and then tried to persuade Trump to attack Iran, which Trump refused to do.

Trump states that is why he retained Milley's battle plan.

Trump showed the battle plan (the cover page?) to a journalist in the context of denying that he (Trump) ever wanted to attack Iran.

I never imagined that Coulter's personal contempt for Trump would bleed over into a complete absence of objectivity about the politically motivated Trump indictment.

I never imagined that Coulter's personal contempt for Trump would bleed over into a complete absence of objectivity about the politically motivated Trump indictment.

Since the beginning, her writing betrays her inability to grasp that others do not process information the way she does. She has become insulated from reality outside of DC or NYC. She cannot resist inserting the verbal stiletto only understood by those who read the fine details of passing news stories, regardless of such sarcasm's comprehensibility or probity to the wider audience, such as the voting public. Her talk-show snark turns stale overnight; in print, most of it does not convey the precise meaning her legal reputation should deserve a month, even a week later.

As for Trump, she's been menopausal since he ran for president.
