The goal, according to senior outside advisors, ought to be returning the DOJ and FBI to a more limited “pre-9/11” mission.
DeSantis has assembled a brain trust of academics, members of Congress, and former administration officials to draw up step-by-step blueprints for tearing the DOJ and FBI down to the studs for a rebuild.
He consults frequently with Reps. Thomas Massie of Kentucky and Chip Roy of Texas, conservatives always at war with government bureaucracy and openly hostile to federal power. Steven Bradbury of the Heritage Foundation and Victor Davis Hanson of the Hoover Institution have also joined the working group to offer technical expertise and historical perspective.

Hopefully he is successful. Just not a good idea to let your enemy know your game plan.
What's that? The mission to plan, setup and execute 9/11?
No person shall face more than three federal counts at any point in time?
All persons convicted of federal offenses may request and may be granted parole after serving the guideline amount(s) of time for their offense(s)?
Lying to a federal agent shall not be an independent offense?
Lying to a federal agent shall not be punished in excess of 20% of the time of the underlying crime(s)?
“more limited “pre-9/11” mission”
Terrorism is something that is OK for the FBI to fight.
What is he waiting for?
January 20, 2025.
Yearly oath:
I pledge to be fair, honest and just as an employee of the Department of Justice.
Where in the Constitution is the DOJ and the FBI authorized, nowhere.
Therefore eliminate both and start something new. No reforming or watering down.

We desperately need this done.
“a more limited “pre-9/11” mission”
“What’s that? The mission to plan, setup and execute 9/11?”
I take it to mean all the Big Government George W. Bush enactments. We need to return to a limited government Republic. The Leviathan needs to be brought to heel. The Deep State must be reigned in.
game plan?
everybody knows the gameplan:
repeal (not replace) the patriot act.
fire 50%> of each alphabet agency.
re-staff with non-dc people, preferably randomly from the phone book.
that’s it.
“fire 50%> of each alphabet agency.“
That’s where you lose me. Many if not most of the agencies and departments need to be abolished. Cutting them by 50% will only allow them to regroup and metastasize within a few years.
Get rid of the Departments of Education, Energy, Agriculture, Health and Human Service, Labor, Commerce, Interior, and Housing and Urban Development.
Departments of Justice, Defense, Transportation, State and Treasury need to be cut by at least 50%.

Because DC’s bureaucracy is so out of control, so unacceptable it needs to be eradicated.
I mean it’s the most important issue in the country right now, and it’s more important that voters know your plans when deciding how to vote than catching the DOJ by surprise after the election. As people learn that the FBI covered up a majority international bribery scheme involving the president, it’s officially time to clean out the rats nest.
Ah, DeSantis isn’t president yet?
Nope, not yet. But what’s stopping him from standing up for a fellow Republican now?
DeDesperate wouldn’t last 15 minutes against the DOJ. 🙄
great. i like your style.
DeSantis, is a puffball of a man. He will tag along with Lindseed Graham and learn at the knees of the Mastah.
