What they are doing now is scratching the russian front in many different places at the same time to see where the weakest point is.

Supposedly there are 300,000 Russian troops in Ukraine now. Their objective is to preserve the land bridge to Crimea. Ukraine can reach Sea of Azov then they can reach Crimea and end the war.

Wasting your breath or keystrokes. Neocons, nazis…. The favorite buzz words that no one can define when i ask.
Putin is for Christian values and anti homo…., yet putting those ideals against reality on the ground and their private lives don’t match but that doesn’t matter.

From the beginning it was obvious to me that the only way this war ends is with a change in Russia not just Putin but the public in general. Russians have a very different mindset that goes far deeper than Russian govt officials.

Though Russia is being humiliated on the battlefield and have largely depleted their soviet inheritance, this will become a forever war unless Russians have a major mindset change.

It is hard to get into the average Russian soldiers head so will they eventually break and run is hard to say we don’t understand the situation fully

Seems many fight for money, some maybe for mother Russia, but the idea of being shot if you fail or run is not something we can wrap our heads around.

The great patriotic war images and ideals are often brought up, but this is not a war of liberation, Russia was the aggressor (kind of like the beginning of ww2 and winter war) despite what RT and Putin says. Motivation for the Russian soldier is definitely a mixed bag

Then there is the “everything is fine” with Russian economy. Perhaps the final straw will be when St. Petersburg and Moscow begin to feel the pinch.

The Ukrainians definitely have a hard slog ahead, Russia still has lots of arms and soldiers enough to make it difficult, defensive positions, extensive minefields….will cause many loses. Interesting how a dozen lost vehicles means the war is over for Ukraine but 135 vehicles lost in one battle is a meh.

The Germans in WW1 did not lose until the generals gave up, as unlikely as that may be I think that is the only way this ends
