Poland lodged claim for $1.3 trillion in compensation, while Greece seeks over $300B for damages during war

Senior Polish officials Tuesday said they plan to expand a campaign to seek massive World War II reparations from Germany, turning to Greece and other European countries as potential allies.

Poland last year formally demanded compensation of $1.3 trillion — an amount close to the size of its annual gross domestic product — while Greece is seeking more than $300 billion for damage incurred by occupying Nazi Germans during World War II.

Germany says damage claims were settled in the aftermath of the war, but Arkadiusz Mularczyk, a deputy Polish foreign minister, said Tuesday that his government in Warsaw would collaborate with other countries that suffered under Nazi occupation.

They know they can’t get anything from Russia, but they can from Germany?

Have the Russians paid anything for Katyn Forest and 45 years of Communist oppression? Not denying the horrific atrocities, beginning with an unprovoked war, committed by Germany. But reparation demands are a slippery slope. Go back far enough and everybody has ancestral monsters.

Is Poland going to give land back?

I’ll add to this question: Will Poland get the land back that was taken in the east and is now part of Ukraine, Belarus and Lithuania?

As an European of decent. Banished from what is now known as the continent of America in 3467 BC we demand reparations from the what is no known as part continent of East Asia for that invasion. We were sent and fled and banished to the continent of what is now known as crappy Europe.

I want my 3 pieces of silver.

Poland: largest net recipient of EU subsidies.

Germany: largest net contributor to EU subsidies.

Net gain to Poland since 2004: 250+ billion euros.

Greatest error ever: EU expansion to accept Eastern European loser countries.

Fact!

Poland should demand the return of western Ukraine and Lviv since the soviets took it in 1939.
Basically every country in Eastern Europe should demand reparations from every other country in Eastern Europe.
