Lawyers for the accused don’t get to be involved as a Grand Jury takes testimony under the direct of a Prosecutor. That is why proceedings are secret and why these are just charges.
The Judge can examine issues like this and throw out an indictment or censure the prosecutor.

It sounds like you know what you're talking about - I'm admittedly not a lawyer - but if what you're saying is correct, then why is President Trump calling attention to the fact the Grand Jury wasn't instructed on the Clinton Socks?
