Extradition isn’t an issue. Extradition only exists when a crime is involved. Extradition is a formal process. This would simply be a matter of undercover hit men to take her out, and they can do that anywhere, any time. Russia won’t be safer than Bumf**k, KS.
If the US wants you dead, no place is safe. That is true enough. If somebody wants US’ gold reserves bad enough, Fort Knox is not safe to store it.
However, every layer of protection you do give is an inhibitor to somebody who means you harm. If this wasn’t true, Snowden should be dead, but he is not.
