On Monday’s “Hugh Hewitt Show,” 2024 presidential candidate and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) argued for reducing the footprint of federal agencies inside Washington, D.C. “by at least 50%.” DeSantis also stated that if he’s elected, this will particularly be the case with the Department of Justice and the FBI by focusing more on local field offices.
"We will also reduce the footprint of all these agencies — but particularly DOJ and FBI — within D.C. by at least 50%."

Eliminate don’t cut them in half. The next administration will just restore it the way it was.
A 1% income tax across the board to be put in IRA accounts.
Add a national sales tax-the rate decided after the 50% of government is eliminated.

The FBI needs to be shuttered along with many other agencies, boards and commissions. That’s the way you reduce the footprint. Say it out load and then do it. It’s not difficult. Give me ten people and two weeks and I’ll cut $3.5 trillion from the budget and next year we start paying down the debt and securing social security.

When Pres Trump wanted to empty DC and send the Dept of Energy and Interior to where the energy is and where the interior is, politicians and lobbyists went into seizures.

When you are faced with a tumor the proper treatment is to cut it out, not spread its malignant bits throughout the body.
Day One Executive Order: The FBI will be disarmed. They will not hold, store, train upon or carry weapons of any kind.
They may continue investigations as normal, but for any raids where they fear danger, they can coordinate with State and Local police
that is a campaign promise, I can get behind.
After eliminating and slashing the payrolls of the alphabet agencies, move them all out of DC. For instance, the Department of Agriculture should be in IOWA or KANSAS.
It sounds a lot like defund the police to me.
Who other than low-life crooks, like the Bidens would benefit from his lunacy? Or maybe that's the plan.
I can see two elements of the FBI continuing to exist at the end: the science lab-development site in Huntsville, and the terrorism division. Beyond that....you could cut what remains by 90-percent. Whatever that group is...I’d reposition it into Detroit or Memphis. That would convince most of who want to stay...to leave the agency.
