And just what purpose did this serve? Yes, this small section is possibly majorly disrupted, but that is actually a drop in the bucket of transport. What did this truck really destroy? What was it near that was so important?

Sadly enough, the times fully justify a paranoid assumption as the default explanation for anything with serious, adverse effects. There really are people who are out to cause harm to others at any opportunity. And they are quite open about their intentions and even their detailed plans People just refuse to hear them.

When you don't have information, the best you can do is go with the odds. "The odds" of an innocent explanation for anything bad that happens have worsened in the few decades.

The transformation of a "paranoid conspiracy theory" into "established fact, old news, doesn't matter", seems to take about three to six months. It happens over and over.

If this incident was truly accidental, it should be easy to confirm that. Best for the authorities to come out as quickly as possible with investigative findings.
