The definitions are so vague that this will be a double-edged scalpel.

When anyone may assert they experienced "severe mental anguish," and that this "effect" demonstrates "hate speech," any one of us could allege the same over and over again. The state and courts would be tied in knots. And by the way, I am offended deeply and mentally anguished over the wording of the proposed law! Class action law suit against the state and legislature!

It doesn't really work that way in practice. Those laws only work against you. The "Progressives" are exempt.

There is a hidden codicil in all of those "Hate Crime" laws. "It's not a crime if a Democrat does it".

Best not to let these "laws" get established in the first place.
