Combine this plus Jack Smith omitting several of Trump's words from the recorded call in the transcript given to the Miami Grand Jury, THIS IS grounds for dismissal.

Is there enough for a Trump-nominated judge to dismiss the charges with prejudice and sanction the government? Would a judge do this? And if they did, would Smith just turn his attention to his ongoing efforts in DC?

There is also a problem about lawyer - client confidentiality. I predict a lot of evidence will be thrown out because of this problem.

Grounds is one thing, but not enough in this environment.

These “blow it up with a tweet”, “shoot it down with a zinger” headlines are sophomoric and misleading. Only in a fantasy world (and on a Perry Mason TV show) are such court cases dismissed summarily, in such a sweeping, satisfying manner. Conservatives are hoping for a deus ex machina.

I thought the evidence gathered in DC was the evidence given to the Miami Grand Jury.

Yes, ignore ALL headlines but read the articles. It does have merit.

Unfortunately, like Turley, most people think that people who lie under oath are punished, but when it comes to lying about Trump there is no punishment, only rewards. The bigger the lie the bigger the reward. None of the liars have been punished, and none of them will ever be punished.

Also:
Smith brought in Trump's lawyers and deposed them. He now lists them as material witnsesses, thus they had to step down as Trump Council.
I am not a lawyer, but this sure smacks as an unethical move on Smith's part.

It wouldn’t be Gateway Pundit without bombs and explosions going off all over the place.

Re: "a Trump-nominated judge"
Trump did nominate Judge Aileen Cannon, but Senate Democrats confirmed her.
Only 44 Republicans showed up for work that day.
12 Democrats pushed her across the Finish Line.
Politically, this was not an inspiring victory for judicial Conservatives.

there will be outcomes NOT expected from the desantis, mitch, “please clap” bush and hillary crowd when they all decided to pursue this against the president.
the system may be complex and appear to be powerful but not all of it is under their control.

In other words, criminal cases don't get easily tossed, even when they never should have been approved. This is all part of the destruction of constitutional checks on the criminal justice system as the country has become more authoritarian.

"CNN “reported” on May 31 that federal prosecutors had “obtained an audio recording of a summer 2021 meeting in which former President Donald Trump acknowledges he held onto a classified Pentagon document about a potential attack on Iran.”
I believe this refers to Milley's scheme for an attack on Iran that Trump opposed and which never happened. Since Trump was no longer in office, this was already old news when Trump allegedly talked about it.

The details regarding the recording of Bedminster call is in the sixth paragraph of page 3 of the indictment. Who made the recording and how did the government obtain it? FBI/NSA wiretap? More FISA court fabrications? I see no reason why Trump would record such a phone call.
These are things we must know to determine the chain of evidence and if its admissible in a criminal proceeding.

I’m betting it was through a wiretap.
