Our demographics are similar to Japan. We’ve been under 2.1 xhildren per woman since the 1970s. The only difference? We’ve had robust immigration the whole time while Japan’s borders remained closed.
I will concede your birth rate point, but that does not answer either of my questions:
“Would you please send me a link(s) to ANY legitimate study by ANY legitimate organization that backs up your statement that ‘. . . our economy needs immigrants to keep everything running . . . .’
And, I need statistical proof that “. . . our economy needs immigrants to keep everything running . . . .”
Neither the labor force participation rate, the number of persons employed part time for economic reasons, who would have preferred full-time jobs, nor the number of persons not in the labor force who currently want a job provide any positive argument for allowing illegal immigrants to enter the USA.
