Yugoslavia was not part of NATO when NATO intervened in their civil war in the 1990’s. Meaning this would not be about Ukrainian membership in NATO but in ending the war.
If Russia then wants to engage NATO forces on Ukrainian territory that’s their funeral.
Wishful thinking MeganC... just wishful thinking. The Ukrainian military has been trained and equipped by NATO and the US. They are a NATO proxy force. We are currently witnessing a preview of what would happen if woke NATO countries sent their troops to fight in Ukraine.
Russia is wining not just on the battlefield but also in the battle for the hearts and minds of the 90% of people in the world who do not live in areas where Western media is king. They see Russia who has less than half the economic power of California alone standing up to the West and it is inspirational to them.
