Been hiding in a cave for the past few decades and in particular the past three years? How anyone could be surprised boggles the mind.

If you're talking about RFKjr, maybe. But at present, he seems to be the least nutty/corrupt of the Democrat bunch.
On the Republican side, imho its still dominated by Uniparty types--remember the fight over the speakership? 20 out of the Republican side at least made some strides to make a difference. And although that debt ceiling monstrosity got passed in the House, that number increased.

Where I'm going with this--something is going on, and its going beyond the 'party paradigm'.
Both Trump and RFKjr imho are manifestations of it. The real fight is between a political structure (arguably outside that established by the Constitution) and the people it claims to respresent.
In other words there's not a dime's worth of difference in my book between Biden/Obama and McConnell/Graham. Both 'sides' are serving an interest, and its not the general welfare of the United States.
