Uhh, no. The Russians used human wave tactics during WW2 quite extensively.

The NKVD — an earlier name for the KGB — was hated by the Russian troops for lining up soldiers and requiring them to move forward. Behind tham were NKVD machine gunns to make sure that happened.

If you were a military prisoner for some conduct problem then you got to be a mine clearing meat machine. Lots faster than traditional methods.

We are seeing the results of the Joe Biden curse. He wanted to destroy the Russian military. Instead he made it a much larger and more lethal force. His next goal was regime change in Russia. If I was Zelensky I would have my bags packed and an airplane waiting on the runway to take me out of the country. He also wanted to destroy the Russian economy but he has damaged America's and Europe's economies instead. I hope he doesn't try to damage Russia any other way because in the end he always screws America instead.

I am so sick of this war and cannot wait for it to finish.

Instead of acquiring skills, building a career, improving their county’s economy, these young men are being sent off with poor resources, insufficient defective equipment, criminally incompetent leadership, into horrific situations to get maimed or killed for nothing.

Somebody’s son. Somebody’s brother. Somebody’s father. Sent as cannon fodder because some indifferent power-hungry well-paid politician couldn’t resolve this by using their brains.

I hope all politicians (yes including our own Dubya) who start needless wars from their own incompetence, get skewered and barbecued daily in hell.

The Red Army did not use human waves. It's a myth, like so much about the Eastern Front - including the widely-held belief that the USSR outproduced Germany.

In World War II, the Russians employed "Deep Battle," a strategy that emphasized destroying and disorganizing enemy forces at the line of contact, but also throughout the depth of the battlefield, primarily to inflict a decisive strategic defeat on the enemy's logistical capabilities.

From your response you seem to be in denial. Do you perhaps still think Artyomovsk has not been captured? Perhaps still under Ukie control?

Fact is the battle lasted for almost a year, and with Ivan’s clear superiority in aircraft and artillery, I am surprised the Ukies didn’t lose more. Video confirmation showed many high rise buildings fully collapse with Vlads newer glide bombs- you can think what you wish, but to think somehow Ukraine is “ winning” is very unrealistic….I don’t see Vlad begging for money, arms, equipment, tanks, aircraft, men, supplies, medicines, fuel, etc from every country on the planet.
