Who are you again?
President Biden tripped over British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s title during their White House meeting Thursday — referring to the UK pol as “Mr. President.”
The 80-year-old Biden’s gaffe came almost immediately after the two leaders sat down in the Oval Office ahead of their wide-ranging talks.
“Well, Mr. President,” Biden started to say before abruptly correcting himself. “Mr. President? I just demoted you.”
As Sunak, 43, laughed off the slip-up, Biden continued: “Mr. Prime Minister, it’s great to have you back.”

I don’t think Biden is going to make it to the election. He is going to fall and seriously hurt himself. Willie Brown’s mistress will be our president and god help us.
you know, that guy over there...
And they made a laughingstock of Dan Quayle for misspelling a word.
He didn’t misspell it, whoever created his flash cards did. However, he didn’t ‘catch’ it, and repeated the mistake.

Addressing the PM as “Prime Minister” outside of Parliament is a recent American style cultural import. Thatcher was referred to as Mrs and then Lady Thatcher (after her husband Dennis became a baronet) whilst she was Prime Minister. Frankly I think that was better. We shouldn’t be giving too many heirs and graces to politicians but our senior politicians have been happy to adopt the kinds of styles that are granted to their American counterparts because it makes them feel much grander.
