You know, I never understood that. When has anyone EVER broadcasted their intent in wartime as far as when they’ll attack, etc? It’s like the japs telling us in August of ‘41 they’re gonna bomb pearl the following December. It’s absolutely retarded. I doubted the counteroffensive would happen because no right minded military would say “yeah, we’re gonna pull a counterattack in a couple months. Better get ready.”

We never know what Russia is really doing because OPSEC is a thing they seem to understand. Ukes, not so much.
