Not true. The Twitter platform was not mentioned in his contract. Supposedly only cable and network were mentioned.
That would be because FOX failed to see Twitter as a viable option.
I figure Tucker went ahead with this on purpose to have it out with FOX now, so he cold get back to work.
I have also heard he has one of the best contract attorneys in the country.
That’s legalities that have to be sorted out in court. Even if Fox was right to consider Twitter a competitor, Tucker was willing to forego his contract bonus to start his own show on Twitter.
You could be right. Matt Stone and Trey Parker, when they started Southpark, Comedy Central didn’t think it was going to be very successful and, consequently, they were willing to give very generous terms to them for what they thought would be a short-term show. That cost Comedy Central $2 billion, to Stone’s and Parker’s credit.
But that’s all going to be sorted in court.
