Wouldn't it be nice to run for political office confident in the knowledge that the lapdog press will act on your behalf by attacking your primary opponent? Republicans can't imagine it. But Democrats rely on the press to serve as unofficial agents of their campaign and attack their opponents, allowing them to pretend to remain above the fray.
That's the plan for Joe Biden. According to Tuesday's "Politico Playbook," he and his team will rely on the aid of the self-styled "objective" press to attack Robert F. Kennedy Jr on his behalf while comfortably ignoring him as revealed in "What do you do with a problem like RFK Jr.?"

There used to be a political group called “liberals,” and the Kennedys were their patron saint family. Now there are only Stalinists, and the Kennedys are the modern Kamenevs, destined for present dismissal and eventual Arkanciding.
I guess the Democrat’s ‘Big Tent’ is only big enough to cover perverts and Abortionist these days.
Just as an aside, Biden placed a bust of RFK in the Oval Office, supposedly demonstrating his deep respect for the late AG and US Senator. It strikes me as sort of weird how politics creates enemies from unlikely sources. But I have no doubt that the media will destroy RFK jr in their attempt to prop up the puppet leader that does whatever he’s told.
Heck the press would destroy JFK were he alive today
I wish the Democratic Party every success at undermining every electable candidate it has.
Sad and infuriating. I really admire RFK, Jr. and even met his late father at the Democrat National Convention in Chicago. A teenager then, I’d been invited by Stanley Tretick, White House Press photographer, to work as his assistant, taking names of people he’d “shot”.
I was standing with Bobby as JFK’s name was placed into nomination. “Do you think he can get it?” “No, but he will next time.” Ah, the Kennedy political acumen. My late wonderful grandmother was a good Irish Dem who went door-to-door as a precinct worker, making sure everyone was voting for “Honey Fitz”. He was, of course, a Dem who was running for mayor.
As for RFK, JR, If the Repugs nominate someone like Pence, II might vote for him should he get the nomination. I bought his book, “The Real Anthony Fauci, and read his web page frequently. He does have what it takes. Imagine that. An honest Dem.
