Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) said on Monday a Senate Republican package to provide additional Ukraine aid in supplemental spending is not “going anywhere” in the House.
McCarthy signaled to Punchbowl News that any additional aid for Ukraine’s protracted conflict with Russia would have to come from the annual appropriations process as part of the Pentagon’s $866 billion in discretionary spending, which was agreed to in the debt ceiling deal, otherwise known as the Fiscal Responsibility Act.

Kevin the Undertaker (of the US) actually did something good? Don’t expect that to last. Pressure will be brought and he will fold.

I sure wish I had $866 billion in discretionary spending.

Now if only DeSantis would follow your lead and come out vociferously against anymore money to the Ukraine.
******************
DeSantis can’t, he’s a puppet.
Never forget that DeSantos was a nobody in 2016, while Bush & Rubio were the prominent politicians from Florida.
Now he’s the “great man” of the conservative movement.(sarcasm)

"Kevin McCarthy Quashes Senate Republican Pitch for Ukraine Aid Supplemental Package"
All that patriots need to know about any kind of foreign aid in preparation for the 2024 primaries is that Justice Joseph Story had clearly indicated that such aid is unconstitutional.
“If the tax be not proposed for the common defence, or general welfare, but for other objects, wholly extraneous, (as for instance, for propagating Mahometanism among the Turks, or giving aids and subsidies to a foreign nation, to build palaces for its kings, or erect monuments to its heroes,) it would be wholly indefensible upon constitutional principles [emphases added].” — Justice Joseph Story, Commentaries on the Constitution 2 (1833)
The first step for 2024 is for Democratic and Republican patriots to primary as many of our beloved state and federal lawmakers and executives as we can.
After all, elected government leaders have once again shown that do not have the patriotism and leadership skills necessary to find legislative support for effective remedies for unconstitutional government policies.
Trump can then endorse candidates that Constitution-savvy patriots recommend as long as candidates are not incumbents, candidates also promising to repeal the 16th (direct taxes) and 17th (popular voting for federal senators) Amendments after they win office.

Congress voted for these rules, now they have to follow them. The existing Ukraine support will last until the next appropriations. This is neither a win or loss for either side of the issue.

Linda Graham is crying face down in his soup tonight. He should fly to Ukraine to personally comfort Zelensky. The two of them make a good couple.
