Apparently Sheen doesn't know British history. The title "Prince of Wales" was originally bestowed on the son of King Edward I in 1301 after his conquest of Wales and execution (1283) of David III, the last native prince of Wales. It was a power move then, demonstrating English military and political superiority and domination over the Welsh, and remains so today.

So it's not going away any time soon, as long as Wales remains one of the four "kingdoms" within the overall United Kingdom.
