Sorry.
The natural born citizen doesn’t have a foreign born parent

But if the foreign born parent was an American citizen when the child was born, some Freepers say this status makes that child a natural born citizen.

Freepers have varying opinions on the definition of natural born citizenship.

Sorry to you South Dakota but you are wrong in that statement. A “natural born Citizen” is a person born in the country to parents who were both Citizens of the country when their child was born here. The parents can be either born Citizens themselves or naturalized Citizens as long as they were Citizens of the USA when their child was born in the USA. See the book “Natural Born Citizen”: https://tinyurl.com/4ah86efp and/or this website for more details on who truly is a “natural born Citizen” without any doubt: http://www.art2superpac.com/issues.html

Now do remember folks. Let’s stay on subject here. The subject of my article that was posted at ThePostEmail.com newspaper and shared here is that a false rumor was being circulated that Ron DeSantis’ mother was born in the country of Poland and moved with her parents at some point in time to the USA. That is absolutely false. She was born in/near Poland OH which is in Mahoning County OH abutting the border with PA. And both of her parents were also born in OH and thus were U.S. Citizens all their lives. Thus Ron’s mother was a “natural born Citizen” of the USA, i.e., born in the USA to parents who were U.S. Citizens when she was born. So the person who is spreading and circulating the rumor about Ron’s mother being born in Poland her family moved from there to the USA is either very nefarious or stupid.

I think that’s ridiculous.

My own father was “Newfoundland born” - of US parents, both of them.

He was indeed offered Canadian citizenship when of age, but chose to stay US.

He was TS cleared for decades since the ‘60s, and I was able to get cleared work decades later, though I always had to prove he was actually a US citizen (usually letters from him, since he had no idea as a 2yo what was happening when they all moved back to the US).

THEY CAN BE FOREIGN BORN——BUT HAVE TO BECOME USA CITIZEN BEFORE HAVING THE CHILD IN QUESTION.

Could be born in Norway—

Came to USA at age 15-—legally

Became USA citizens at age 22-——

Became parents at age 27-—

CHILD is NBC
