That is true. She was born in Scotland. But she became a naturalized U.S. Citizen several years before Donald Trump was born. So the Donald was born in the USA to two U.S. Citizen parents and is thus without a doubt a “natural born Citizen” of the United States.
There is no record DeSantis or his mother ever applied for U.Sm citizenship.
At this time there have been over a thousand decisions about the meaning of natural born citizen. But, Trump and his loyal followers say otherwise. Then, we find out that Trump’s natural born status can be questioned. Here’s one thing that can’t be questioned: he avoided service during the Viet Nam war, being 4F, and neither of his adult sons served. And, here’s another thing: about half the people Trump appointed to his staff or to his cabinet are, in Trump’s words, sleazebag losers or the equivalent. Finally, about Trump losing the Congress in 2018, and losing re-election in 2020, I say, paraphrasing Trump, I prefer politicians who win.
Trying to explain NATURAL BORN CITIZEN to those who do NOT get the difference is very frustrating.
