A deer carcass smells pretty bad

That is true. One Christmas, my son and d-i-l were on their way to our house and hit a deer. Luckily, the damage to their car was minimal, but the deer was deceased due to a broken neck. They used Christmas ribbon and a dog leash to tie the carcass to the top of their car. We butchered the deer when they arrived — late at night-—in the cold. But, it put venison in the freezer. LOL!
