It’s even WORSE than that. For if that was true, they wouldn’t be trying to keep Third World countries like Sri Lanka and South Africa impoverished by forcing ‘green energy’ on them, along with trying to take control of China, rather than letting the country fully modernize.
It’s more that they see a planet that was once beautiful and healthy absolutely DESTROYED by humans, and thus the only option as they see it is to cut-out the cancer (humans), but obviously leaving a small cadre (themselves) around.

As do all the economically illiterate leftist and marxists. They believe wealth is a zero-sum game, when in fact it is constantly being created (and destroyed). If I dig up some mud, shape it into a bowl, and fire it over gathered downed wood, I have created wealth on the back of nobody but me.
