A Border Patrol K-9 helped agents sniff out $2 million worth of smuggled fentanyl during a traffic stop in Arizona last week, officials said.
The seizure happened at a checkpoint along I-8 near Yuma, Yuma Sector Chief Patrol Agent Patricia McGurk-Daniel wrote on Twitter. “The narcotics totaled more than 192 pounds, enough to kill 48 million people,” McGurk-Daniel wrote.
The amount of fentanyl seized during the traffic stop was more than the total amount of fentanyl seized during the entirety of Fiscal Year 2022 in the Yuma Sector, according to public US Customs and Border Protections statistic

my first question ...
is the dog ok?
Whew! Lucky the border is all secure and stuff huh. 😲
By E. Normus JohnsonSounds like a FReeper!"No details about the suspect or any potential charges were immediately available"
I'm assuming it's got to be a neo-nazi white supremacist. Authorities need some time to plant a few nazi flags and photoshop some swastika tattoos on the perp before photos and ID are released.
Our government is unhappy. They were counting on that to dump into our water supply or spray over us, at some future point, after most of us tell them to shove their latest death vax on us.
“192 pounds, enough to kill 48 million people,”
How is this not a terrorist attack?
If they found enough explosive to blow up a mall .... I bet they would call that terrorism.
48 million people ... sheeee
Or mix the Fentanyl into the missing ammonium nitrate and go for that MAGA air burst…
The Stupid Party should point this out to the Crooked Party and the moron in the White House.
Good Dog....
192lbs= abt 87100 grams-
need common core math for that to kill 47 million people.
when I start blaming guns, I’ll start blaming gambling, drugs etc...as well.
Traitor Jao is WAY worse than Benedict Arnold when it comes to opening the southern border to the Mexican Cartels.
I don't know about 47 million ... that sounds a bit high...
But I haven't done a lot of fent lately..so...
Let's say 10,000 people. Do you think it's enough to kill 10,000 people?
If I have a gun in my trunk it may stay there for months...years... having it in my trunk doesn’t really indicate intent to shoot up a town.
If i have enough fent to kill 10,000 in the trunk, I think it's a reasonable jump to conclude I mean to distribute it .. I may not “mean” to kill folks ... but it is poison ya know.
Equating a gun to a pound of fent is absurd.
Fentanyl and the Darwin Awards go together. So why is everybody upset about it?
George Floyd was selling fentanyl when he was caught and he swallowed the drug which killed him. He had 11mg in his body while less then 3mg will kill you.
How many people did he murder?
Last week spent a late afternoon hiking down Sycamore Canyon near Ruby AZ.
Lots of trail use, not by hikers and bikers though.
Hundreds of empty water bottles and one gallon containers, full Vienna Sausage cans stashed and lots of empties strewn along dry stream bed. Caves in the canyon stashed with water jugs (full), blankets, various clothing and other evidence of regular use.
A real eye opener.
> About 300 Americans die every day from fentanyl. Roughly the same number as on a commercial airline crash.
Could you provide some reputable cites? Should bear repeating, even if an air crash only affects unsuspecting innocents and the fentanyl affects mostly illegal drug users. After all the latter group may include some percentage of the unsuspecting who are also the victims of propaganda/indoctrination that drug use is not risky.
I wonder if there is an instant test for the presence of fentanyl? Seems like it’s only a matter of time before a terrorist thinks of introducing it into some everyday products...
Or cropdusts the country with a load of it in say, I don't know, a BALLOON?
It’s been found in candy.
