When the US Treasury used to have a list on their website, it indicated that the last time the national debt decreased from one near to the next was dated 12/31/1960, which would have been the last year Dwight Eisenhower was President. (Which is a weird date, because the federal fiscal year ended 6/30 back then.)

Anyway, the national debt decreased 3 times in the 8 years Eisenhower was President. Considering we were still paying off the Marshall Plan and cranking up the Interstate Highway System during that time. not a bad track record.

Even during the years when Newt Gingrich and Bill Clinton bragged about a "balanced budget", the national debt increased. One year was only by $18 Billion, but still an increase.

This morning, the Uni-Party Propagandists will be out in Full Force telling you lie after lie, and misdirection after misdirection, to avoid revealing what a shit sandwich the (Gross) Fiscal (Ir)Responsibility Act of 2023 Bill is for most Americans.

And how America was saved from the “scourge” of the (Very Fake Boogeyman) of Default. [Chuckie Schumer].

Here’s the gist of how it will be portrayed courtesy of the AP:

“Fending off a U.S. default, the Senate gave final approval late Thursday to a debt ceiling and budget cuts package, grinding into the night to wrap up work on the bipartisan deal and send it to President Joe Biden’s desk to become law before the fast-approaching deadline.

The compromise package negotiated between Biden and House Speaker Kevin McCarthy leaves neither Republicans nor Democrats fully pleased with the outcome.”

President BooBoo: “No one gets everything they want in a negotiation, but make no mistake: this bipartisan agreement is a big win for our economy and the American people.”

Taylor Sheridan surely plays a cocky character in the series. I wonder how challenging he is to work with on set as the creator, writer, director and producer of Yellowstone.

Looks like Montana isn't big enough for both Sheridan and Costner.

My guess is he has enough graft and other baggage to refrain from the risk of exposure.

We've had several perfect days of needed rain. Mornings clear and comfortable with afternoon and evening storms. Couldn't ask for a better setup.

FL FReepers--the sales tax holiday is in effect for disaster prep. The greatly expanded list of items which qualify for tax holiday is amazing. From the usual flashlights and tarps to toilet paper, Kleenex, paper towels, soap, laundry detergent, dish liquid and dishwasher detergent, pet food, kitty litter, portable power banks, generators now up to a generous $3K, portable chargers, and a host of other items. Through June 9, and will be repeated in late August.

Munchin now on with Shannon.

munchin now complaining that "we cant get anything done on energy in this country".Gee Joe I wonder why? Another village idiot.

Munchin now thanking Republicans for getting his pipeline across the line, dems are idiots but not really.

If they can kill off energy it has all kinds of ramifications and they know it.Remember their goal is total destruction of a once great country so they can take over forever.

Joe Munchin(sp on purpose) now playing politics claiming he is square in the middle and the good guy instead of the truth he votes with the dirty dems almost all the time, what a putz.

Munchin's too gutless to admit he's in the plan B to do a third party with him the candidate, yet another gutless wonder. Munchinns claim for being in the middle falls waaaay short due to his voting record. He's a cabal dream.

Senator Tom Cotton now on with Shannon congratulating McCartheeeeeee for sabotaging the conservative movement with his recent give the dems everything bill. We can't get rid of the dirty dems until we learn to play hardball. Beach-ball legislation against demons seldom works. The topic goes to Taiwan without ever mentioning all the dirty dealings that go on there underground there, they may be as corrupt as Ukraine jury is out.

Only radical greenies hold it against Manchin for his pipeline promise finally fulfilled. Most are probably happy.

His issue is his Jim Justice challenge and how it affects politics in ‘24.

May be a lot of variables in play there seems Costner had a divorce along the way as well. Hard to say why actors do what they do.

https://www.usatoday.com/story/life/health-wellness/2023/05/04/kevin-costner-wife-divorce-news-shocks-why-fans-are-reeling/70180169007/

Kevin Costner stunned fans earlier this week after announcing he and his wife of nearly 19 years, Christine Baumgartner, are calling it quits.

Even for those who aren't die-hard “Yellowstone” fans and don't follow Costner all that closely, it's a painful realization that even relationships that last decades don't guarantee a forever kind of love.

Fans have looked to Costner and his long-lasting marriage as a positive example of a Hollywood romance, says Carmelia Ray, a celebrity matchmaker and relationship expert. “The news of them splitting up is disappointing because people feel like they know celebrities, so when they break up it almost feels like a breakup they're experiencing themselves.”

Yeah for sure, one reason i think some guys buy the tesla electric is that it is fast. its zero to 60 is like lighting. But that may be the only positive about the vehicle the rest is all down hill.Plus its hard to be positive about cars that light up in flames.

https://www.zeroto60times.com/vehicle-make/tesla-0-60-mph-times/

One of the older tesal models had some impressive 0-60 times:
2015 Tesla Model S P90D ‘Ludicrous’
0-60 mph 2.7
Quarter mile 11.0
That alone will chum up some guys its beyond quick.

I use a lot of paper towels at work. Any help is a benefit.
Recently, I looked up a particular brand from Cosco and it was $22.00 for a case of 12 rolls. The same brand from Amazon which I subscribe to was $34.00. Amazon can be misleading from time to time.

To a Communist the destruction of something is far more rewarding than building something.

Something positive happening in Oregon?

Don’t trust him for a minute. He came from China and mysteriously became a multimillionaire overnight. Appears to be a Chinese spy but who knows.

It definitely pays to shop for price comparisons. On occasion, Amazon Subscribe & Save 15% discount will cost less than other retailers.

Did you see the Freedom Summer sales tax holiday? Also in effect through the end of 2023, includes concerts, movies, water safety and recreation supplies, fishing rods and reels (max $150/set), gas or charcoal grills, sunglasses and other fun items. The FL budget is doing swimmingly well with all of these tax holidays.

This is the brainwashing the cult has done to Americans as they no longer care about being secure both financially or physically and only care about worshiping their insane beliefs while ignoring their own polluting ways.

So true applies also to all the other focal points of wokeness / alleged grievances
