My question to you is, in a world where Target started with social activism years ago, has been reprimanded by consumers, suffered losses, most notably within the last six months, why would they be massively renovating any store, in this case in a crappy neighborhood in a terrible economy competing with on line merchandizing next to other stores shutting down
They’re getting paid. They’re not enjoying returns on investments nor good marketing programs. That’s a fact They’re not enjoying greater sales revenue.
The other question is why are they ignoring public consumer outcry to stop with their woke while flaunting financial gains by needlessly renovating
No one is renovating around here no homes, stores, schools, restaurants. No one.

I’m not sure any of the Dayton family owns very much of Target Corp anymore.
Now it’s owned by the typical mutual funds and institutional investors, such as Vanguard.
It’s lost a reported tens of billions. They have no business renovating under a capitalist market system.

Believe it or not, Disney as a company is made up of many, some of them are truly great people. Not as monolithic as you portray.. still, I sold my Disney stock 2 years ago because of the frightfully poor management.
