It is my opinion that President Trump was on the verge of ending the Korean War, that is until the fake charges were repeated 24/7 by the media and members of Congress. These charges weakened President Trump in the eyes of North Korea and they back off making any deals.
An opportunity of peace in the region was missed all because of the lies the Democrats and the media spread about President Trump.
Oh good lord almighty.
That assumes that China was not leaning heavily on Little Kim as well to stay in their orbit. They want him for their chess piece, which is probably a knight or a bishop, not a pawn or a rook. But they want him nonetheless.
