TOKYO, June 2 (Reuters) - The United States is seeking to secure supplies of TNT in Japan for 155mm artillery shells, as Washington rushes …

TNT and Artillery shells are the most basic of war materials.
Right up there with small arms ammo and diesel.
You've got that right. They just begged South Korea for 100,000 ammo shells to send to Ukraine. And we are supposedly sending older, stock-piled military machinery, equipment, etc., to Ukraine for them to use. But in doing that, we are depleting our own stockpiled resources, old or not, that could be needed quickly to defend our own shores, at least until production levels for new stuff could be put in place, and ramped up.
I have been following this guy as One of my sources of info
I didn’t trust him at first but most of what he says seems to be backed up with other sources and news
Example, He actually talked about the shell shortage in the west a couple of days and then I see this story

Treason is the reason!
Sloe Joe and The Hoe Gotta Go!
The US has very little need to defend it’s own shores.
Indeed. What this nation has need of is a defense of its borders. Quite a different thing.
“Funny how this administration stated they will bleed Russia, however, it appears the US has been bled dry.”
Quite true. Though I doubt the Neocons will learn anything, RULE NUMBER 1 is to make sure you have SECURE supply lines before starting World War 3.
My guess is that the Neocons simply had NO CLUE as to the state of Western Militaries, and figured we’d roll over Russia, just as we did with Iraq in 1990.
RULE NUMBER 2 is to look at a CALENDAR before starting World War 3. If the Neocons had done that, they’d know it is 2023 and not 1990...and the world of 1990 DID NOT stand by and do nothing (like the US military) did since 1990.
“TNT and Artillery shells are the most basic of war materials. Right up there with small arms ammo and diesel.”
Yea, but all that stuff is YUCKY, and so why should have the Neocons gotten their hands dirty stockpiling that YUCKY stuff, when they weren’t planning on going to war against a country bigger than Serbia?
“You’ve got that right. They just begged South Korea for 100,000 ammo shells to send to Ukraine.”
Actually, it was 500,000, and I doubt they begged - more like threatened. OBVIOUSLY, as far as the Neocons are concerned, the survival of South Korea is of FAR LESS significance to them than extending the war for a few months in Ukraine.
They need to check with the revenue service here.
Translation:>> The US pressures South Korea to more publicly support the WarMongering in Ukraine.
7.62x51 is still too damned expensive.
the shores? not as much. the land borders are the problem.
Yes, seems to provide good info but hard to watch, can’t sit still for one second.
The US borders can be perfectly well controlled with policemen, not armored divisions.
BTW, Mercouris is a disbarred barrister who got struck off for lying, dishonesty, forgery, slandering a judge, and being a general nutcase. He's also on Putin's payroll.
Past comes back to haunt struck off barrister turned Russia commentator
At a hearing in March 2012 Stephen Mooney, the BSB’s counsel, described the lies as an “extremely convoluted story” of “tortuous deceit”.
Mr Mercouris, 55, a former Citizens Advice Bureau worker who had also worked in the Royal Courts of Justice for 12 years before being called to the bar in 2006, was struck off and banned from practicing law.
In mitigation he said he had had been diagnosed with depression after a nervous breakdown in 2007, due to the strain of caring for his sick grandmother, and that he was “very sorry” for what he had done.
Following the end of his legal career, Mr Mercouris turned his skills to writing opinion pieces for websites such as Russia Insider and Sputnik News, and began appearing on RT’s flagship programme Cross Talk. He also became Editor-in-Chief of an English language pro-Russian website The Duran.
You go back 10 years to dig up dirt?
Even if true he seems to provide good info on Ukraine not widely reported in the western media about what’s going On
I have been watching him for over a month now and like I said things he says are eventually picked up by other media in some ways
So you have NO problem that this guy has been proven to be a liar and fraud, and is on Putin’s payroll?
Termite, you post WaPo here as it’s the truth.Suck on some wood Termitebabbler.
