Well, well, well, even US trainers in Ukraine are getting the word out. But then I guess there are some here who will call it Russian propaganda.

Sorry war cheerleaders, maybe you folks finally acknowledge reality? Calls for negotiations, Peace? The western narrative is crumbling.

> In the United States, it takes years to develop just a junior noncommissioned officer.

This can be done if those junior non-commissioned officers haven’t gotten killed or maimed in the interim.

During the American Revolution the Brits had it all over us - trained soldiers, precise discipline - a strong chain of comment and the most up to day weapons of that time.

We on the other hand stood behind trees and tried not to shot until we saw the color of their eyes..

There’s not time to turn Ukrainians into ‘red coats’ so the best option is to break down what they do (and what Russians do) and build on their strong points. Modify the strong points Include them in that process.

Ukraine is screwed.

If the US truly wants Ukraine to win, Ukraine needs about two million NATO troops.

In comparison, the United States, and a few others, sent a million troops to the gulf states in 1991 to fight Saddam's army.

As long as the higher level officers adhere to the soviet model, the forces will adhere to the soviet model. Zelensky adheres to the soviet model, so I’m guessing that the generals ,colonels, majors, and captains will too.

If Ukraine is to TRULY win, it would find the gumption to kick out NATO, the CIA biolabs, and the zelenskysky puppets the US helped install.

I don’t care about this war. I’m not backing Nazis that launder money for Europe and their leaders who skim 20% of OUR money to enrich themselves while fighting a war. I’m not backing Russia’s desire to take land but force to gain power and grow their economy. I’d much rather we use the money we are sending there to protect our border, help our sick and destitute, lower our taxes, and another dozen things that help Americans. Western Europe can handle Russia. It’s just not my problem.

They Ukrainian Military reminds me of this troglodyte husband:

It was George the Mailman’s last day on the job after 35 years of carrying the mail through all kinds of weather to the same neighborhood.

When he arrived at the first house on his route he was greeted by the whole family there, who roundly and soundly congratulated him and sent him on his way with a tidy gift envelope.

At the second house they presented him with a box of fine cigars. The folks at the third house handed him a selection of terrific fishing lures. = At the fourth house he was met at the door by a strikingly beautiful woman in a revealing negligee. She took him by the hand, gently led him through the door (which she closed behind him), and led him up the stairs to the bedroom where she blew his mind with the most passionate love he had ever experienced.

When he had had enough they went downstairs, where she fixed him a giant breakfast: eggs, potatoes, ham, sausage, blueberry waffles, and fresh-squeezed orange juice. When he was truly satisfied she poured him a cup of steaming coffee. As she was pouring, he noticed a dollar bill sticking out from under the cup’s bottom edge. "All this was just too wonderful for words, " he said, "but what’s the dollar for?"

"Well," she said, "last night, I told my husband that today would be your last day, and that we should do something special for you. I asked him what to give you.

He said, "F___ him. Give him a dollar." The breakfast ... that was my idea."

They brought it/bring it on themselves, they really do.

We are about to learn why you don’t poke a nation that can destroy any other nation with the push of a few buttons and a phone call. It doesn’t matter if we use other countries as our stick.

This so-called war was started by Obama and his idiot VP who was running a money operation in Ukraine with his son. Obama figured out how to really amp it up using moron Joe to start an all out proxy war.

Well - Son of a bitch.....

There is no realistic scenario for a Ukrainian victory. The best result for them would be a negotiated settlement with Russia, excluding NATO input.

Along with a great need for thousands of pickup trucks, the following part of the article, points to Ukraine's lack of mobilty:

. . . the mentality of supply distribution in Ukraine is to husband resources. Most battalion supply officers are appointed and not school trained. They might have an assistant and some vehicles, but everything is based on personal initiative. Maintenance is based on cannibalization, horse trading between units, and battlefield recovery.

There is not a steady stream of repair parts or a system of maintenance at the unit, battalion, brigade, and depot levels. The skill of maintainers is based more on personal aptitude and less on school-trained mechanics. All the services have maintenance courses, but that does not translate into a ready pool of mechanics.
