Aren't you concerned that if they successfully convince us to dump Trump because of his phony legal issues then they will do the same to the next politician who crosses the uniparty?
In other words, they will be able to always pick our candidates, and those candidates will be uniparty.
Isn't that a concern along with the concern that the author and you both express?
I am concerned with EITHER ONE OF THE POSSIBILITIES, yes.
It looks like the continued WEAPONIZATION of our justice system to use the unlimited resources of government to harrass the leading GOP candidate that both parties do not like.
All to ensure that the Deep State stays in place.
That’s what we get for an ever expanding government bureaucracy.

That is exactly my concern. Although it was on a lessor scale, remember how the democrats/media portrayed both Romney and McCain? They were not quite as vicious then as they are now, but at the time, it was pretty bad.
Of course, once they had totally destroyed their campaigns and Obama had won, they suddenly stopped the constant negatives stories. Now they consider both of the former presidential candidates as an example of moderate “principled” conservatives. (Remember the accolades of McCain at his funeral?).
The media has already started the “DeSantis worse than Trump” mantra. If he is the nominee, they will start a campaign against him of lies much like they did Trump. The only GOP candidate they would not attack is one hand-picked by the democrats to be our nominee.
People don’t think that deep... Ross Perot fiasco taught people nothing. Ramping up a third contender at this point has only one true objective. And judging by the divide on FR alone, it’s working flawlessly...
