Rep. Andrew Clyde dropped a bombshell bit of information on the behind-the-scenes arm twisting from House Republican leadership on the debt ceiling fight, telling War Room host Steve Bannon that he was told by at least one unnamed member that his bill to stop the ATF’s new pistol brace rule from being enforced would be held in limbo unless he cast an assenting vote to the debt ceiling package crafted by House Speaker Kevin McCarthy and the Biden administration.
Citizens for Renewing America BREAKING: @Rep_Clyde says Republican leadership threatened to BLOCK his repeal of the ATF’s unconstitutional "pistol brace" ban if he didn't vote for the rule on the Biden-McCarthy-Massie debt deal.

Name names Clyde. Why protect people who’d stab you in the back. Coward.
The whole vote was upside down...
Freedom Caucus Jim Jordan voted ‘yes’, MTG voted ‘yes’.
While, FetidBrainiac voted ‘no’.
Republicans are getting as bad as the rats. Blackmail is not the road to go down.
I think MTG is a little full of herself of late.
They have to ban our rights before they force the Mark of the Beast on us.
“They have to ban our rights before they force the Mark of the Beast on us.”
Which I believe will be done in conjunction with digital banking. “Security” will be the reason for it and at first it will be voluntary.
The bill was never going to get a veto proof majority. This rule from the ATF will be struck down by the courts. Clyde chose poorly. He should had the balls to vote correctly in the rules committee and the walk out to the media and exposed McCarthy. I can abide pussies like Clyde. He doesn’t have the guts to standup to a faggot like McCarthy. McCarthy just had his ass kicked in negotiations with a dementia-ridden pedophile and Clyde is afraid of him.
Clyde voted “No” and has gone public with the threat by leadership. It puts McCarthy in a tight spot now if he doesn’t allow the pistol brace legislation to move forward. It will show pettiness takes precedent over the rights of the people. I’m not sure what more Clyde could have done. His “No” vote showed he wasn’t intimidated by McCarthy on the issue.
The entire system is rigged in ways like this. It has been for along time. Very corrupt.
Turning out to be? He has always been a snake. Look at his confirmation. Everyone knows
I must have that backwards. I thought he voted for the rule to proceed.
“I must have that backwards. I thought he voted for the rule to proceed.”
I believe that was Massie. Andrew Clyde has pretty much stuck with Chip Roy on the issues and has not backed down from his position. Clyde was just elected to his second term last November, but unless he quits in disgust, I think he is going to be a formidable conservative champion in the years to come. So far, he has not betrayed his promises nor his expressed principles.
On a side note, if you are ever in Georgia visit one of his firearm stores. Clyde’s Armory has a good reputation of having knowledgeable employees and a nice selection of firearms.
Thanks for the background.
Clyde Armory also has a reputation for insane high prices.
I go to the one in Bogart when I get my car serviced. Never saw any prices that would make me buy something there.

I’ve seen some great deals there. I guess you have to go in there at the right time.
