The Justice Department has closed its investigation into the possible mishandling of classified documents found at former Vice President Mike Pence’s home and will not bring any charges, according to a letter from the DOJ obtained by CNN.
The decision comes ahead of Pence’s planned announcement next week that he will run for president in 2024. It allows Pence to offer an additional contrast between himself and former President Donald Trump, his political rival who’s under serious investigation by the Justice Department and others.

Yes, it is- and Pence did NOT have the power of declassifying what he took and had— no damn way. Trump did, and is in the clear. Period over and out.
It’s not criminal when supporters of the Deep State do it.
Pence can’t necessarily claim he declassified the documents because his power to declassify isn’t complete. Trump can. But they’re going after Trump because he went after them.
They are doing this to cover Biden since many of the documents he has were from his VP and Senate days.
This just shows once again how corrupt and politicized the DOJ and FBI are under Garland and Wray. It also shows the lack of intellectual honesty at CNN for not questioning why such a decision is made for Pence and democrats who had no authority to declassify but then go full hog against Trump who had such authority but is the leading opponent of the democrats for president.
An obvious clue that Pence is a member of the swamp in good standing.
And part of the payback for playing dumb on January 6th.

The timing is very suspicious since it appears they are clearing Pence before his announcement.
As President, Trump had the authority to classify and declassify documents but a VP does not have that authority. But both former vice-presidents are being given a pass on their possession of documents, while a special counsel is going after the former President.
This is obviously a witch-hunt against Trump. It’s obvious the special counsel appointed to investigate Biden’s documents possession is not doing anything but marking time until they can say Biden done nothing wrong. But they plan to charge Trump with a crime for the same type actions. There is just no way around that fact.

Pence is running. DeSantis isn’t gaining traction yet.
