Would be interesting if there were security camera footage of the "encounter."
I wonder: Will the good judge now be morally obligated to recuse himself from any future cases involving armed robbery?

The judge could recuse himself if in his assessment his reaction to becoming a crime victim induced bias or prejudice. Recusal (or, more correctly, disqualification) though likely would not be required unless the specific robbers were determined and came in front of him for that or another crime.

Only fools work around or in oakland anymore.
SF isn’t far behind.
We got retards reenacting 18th century naval battles on 880 using guns on top of all the robberies and other crime going on.

I wonder if he is a leftist extremist judge who coddles criminals?

Brings to mind Tom Wolfe’s Bonfire of the Vanities and the desciptions of the dangerous surroundings of that Bronx courthouse, and the measures the workers had to take to get there and back safely.

I have a hard time feeling sorry for the elitists who have to experience what they inflict on the rest of us.
I’m not disappointed that they are not exempt from reality smacking themselves upside the head.

Out of curiosity, I just looked it up. The cheapest new Rolex costs around $5000. I am amazed by that, as I would have guessed around $500. Anyway, my old $15 Timex watch has taken a licking, but keeps on ticking.
So I don’t think I’ll be trading it in for a Rolex.
