BREAKING: House overwhelmingly passes Biden-McCarthy debt limit deal 314-117
On to the Senate
Technocracy I think. Call it what you want but it is one fubrepublic right now.
I am sure the Z man in the yu krane is happy-go-lucky right now.
Lots of TX FL and other southern states reps voting no. đź—ł Interesting...
You know those IRS agents will be foaming at the mouth while they are going after Trump and his family .
Then, Trump will whine and complain online and do nothing about it.
No, that is a LIE.
Trump made his bold pronouncement before the deal was announced and the details were publicized.
Once the deal was announced and we read the details, then Trump went silent.
DeSantis and the Freedom Caucus immediately shouted how horrible this agreement was for the nation and that it gave Biden full cover until after the 2024 election.
Trump was still silent.
Trump is not a leader. He should have been out front on this fighting it.
But it was Trump's endorsed RINO Speaker McCarthy that negotiated the deal, and Trump had no comment.
Trump had time to blast Kayleigh McEnany for not getting his polling lead correct. Trump was posting like crazy during all this, but never used his BIG MOUTH to talk about a major federal issue.
Trump said he would negotiate a federal abortion limit (like 15 weeks) that everyone could agree with.
Trump supports an assault weapons ban.
No thanks, Donald. We now see the results of your negotiating and I do not want my rights negotiated away by your hand-picked RINO team.
Great job by Trump’s endorsed RINO Speaker!!!
Now Biden has no worry about the debt ceiling until after the 2024 election, spending remains at post-Wuhan levels and Biden’s IRS weaponization is baked in.
I am sure you are proud that Trump never said a word during this entire debate. He just sat back and attacked Kayleigh McEnany because she got his polling lead wrong.
And who exactly is going to vote him out? There will never be enough votes to get rid of him.
“I’m in Mi too. The reason we lost both houses is because the rats had the Governor, AG and SOS. They cheated and put ballot harvesting everywhere you could find young girls who were convinced the GOP was going to make abortion illegal. They even put abortion on the ballot and broke rules to do it”
That doesn’t explain why Proposal 3 either won or did well in counties Republican candidates won. There were only 9 counties that resoundly rejected Prop 3. The truth is that many women who voted Republican voted in favor of Prop 3.
While Tudor Dixon easily won my county with 57% of the vote, 49% voted in favor of Prop 3.
The overturning of Roe v. Wade was a gift to the Democrats in Michigan
Irs can’t handle that. They can train all they want, they won’t survive.
They’ll hire a bunch of affirmative action imbeciles who grew up playing call of duty, and try to act it out in real life.
Trump’s low infaltion, low unemployment and energy independence are great “fiscal matters”.
I’ll give you 2 out of 3. ;-) Inflation is the natural result of monetary expansion due to deficit spending. The inflation “bugaboo” would have bitten him in his 2nd term (not as bad as “Bidenflation” tho...Biden is racking up more deficit spending than PDJT would have).
Was it:
That is an incomplete list but please tell us what is not conservative about any of those things?
All good points...I didn’t say he didn’t demonstrate conservative principals...but his weakest conservative area was spending/balanced budget.
Blame Congress not Trump.
Also, for a successful businessman, his cabinet and appointments were some of the most atrocious ever. His track record for who he associates with, appointed, nominated and befriends speaks volumes to his leanings and his failed leadership at times. A large number of his own appointees contradicted him and ever went as far as publicly fight him. So much so his own administration leaked like shivs to undercut him every step of the way. He had his moment and did great things in some areas but in large part it was showmanship with little end result. A long lasting impact lasts long after one has departed. Almost everything he may have put in place has been undone. That isn’t great leading
Cowardice? Cupidity?
Which POTUS was as successful as Trump? Look at what Trump accomplished:
Who the heck can accomplish the above in four years while being impeached twice and investigated by Obama's Weaponized Agencies?
It’s a kabuki. They need both conservatives and liberals to hate it and deride it so they could say that it must have been a fair compromise. All was orchestrated, even the opposition.
I definitely agree he did wonderful things, no question and he wasn’t perfect. However, there are numerous questionable associations, appointments and endorsements (numerous to count) and pivotal moments (such as the debt ceiling) where one is silent that makes you ponder, is this truly the man we voted for and now is silent when his leadership is needed most? His silence on this matter speaks volumes. It reminds me of the politician that instead of taking the lead on matters waits to see which way the political wind blows before taking a stand. That’s not a leader of principle but a leader of coincidence; a sunshine patriot.
