Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis drew laughs from an audience in Iowa after hitting back against criticism from former President Trump on his record as Florida governor.

"He used to say how great Florida was," DeSantis told a reporter following a speech Tuesday night on the campaign trail in Iowa. "Hell, his whole family moved to Florida under my governorship. Are you kidding me?"

he Florida Republican’s comments drew a loud laugh from the crowd.

"Look, I’m going to respond to attacks," DeSantis added.

Who cares what Ron said. He knows full well that Trump already owned a home there, and regularly spent time there with his family since 1985. Trump didn't permanently move there because DeSantis was Governor. They made the permanent move due to the less than friendly atmosphere of New York City...like constant legal harassment, but DeSantis couldn't bring himself to mention any of that. He's trying to take credit for something he had nothing to do with.
