Waste-to-energy was originally seen as a solution to mountains of waste in landfills across the country. Of course it produces CO2 but when conceived, nobody cared about that. Another display of the incoherence of the “green” people.
The Compost reads like there is nothing wrong about corporate welfare other than some are not getting their fair share - so wrong on so many levels.
I think burning trash is brilliant, still.
Worked on a project at Dyess AFB in 2006. We installed/piped in back-up diesel tanks/generators for Holt Cat. These generators were tied into trash burning generators with massive exhaust filters.
Good idea.
Environmentalists the ones that get governments to order citizens to wash Garbage and call it recycling ,LOL
